Bach Flower Remedies
Bach Flower Remedies were invented and developed by the English physician and homeopath Dr. Edward Bach (1886-1936).
Bach thought of illness as the result of a conflict between the purposes of the soul and the person's actions and attitudes due to his/her present personality. This internal war, according to Bach, leads to negative moods and to "energy blocking", thus leading to physical diseases. The remedies are intended primarily for emotional conditions such as e.g. depression, different types of anxiety, insomnia and stress, lack of concentration, etc.
Each of the 38 remedies (37 wild flowers and spring water) discovered by Dr Bach is directed at a particular characteristic or emotional state.
Bach Flower remedies are completely safe for use by anyone, including children and can also be used on pets. Moreover, treatment with Bach Flowers can be combined with other homeopathic or conventional treatments.
